| Many small businesses, in particular, no longer have a member of staff whose sole responsibility it is to take incoming phone calls. In such cases musiphone® NEXT LEVEL systems can do much more than simply issue a welcome message before the call is answered. The musiphone® allows callers to connect themselves to the extension they need (“Press 1 for Sales, 2 for Technical Support ...”), thus reducing the amount of time callers have to wait until they are put through to the relevant department. Thanks to the routing monitor on NEXT LEVEL systems, the musiphone® even recognises whether the required number is busy or the call is unanswered when automatically forwarding a call. | Customer service and availability are of vital importance, especially for small businesses, because customer service ideally means 24-hour availability. To avoid having to release staff mobile phone numbers, the musiphone® can if required automatically forward any calls received out of office hours to a remote number (up to twenty digits) after first playing back a friendly greeting message, a function that can also be timer-controlled. | Each musiphone® NEXT LEVEL system comes with an integral answering machine that is easy to activate. The advantages over an external answering machine are quite evident: NO additional analogue port required on the telephone system and optimum ISDN sound quality (permits message background music).
