Telephone systems generally have a variety of different call reception modes. These determine how incoming calls are handled during the day and after the close of business. In this way, for example, calls received after the end of the working day can be directed to an answering machine or forwarded via call diversion to a mobile phone. The problem used to be that far from all telephone systems could automatically switch call reception mode on a time-controlled basis. With a musiphone® NEXT LEVEL unit attached to the telephone system, mode switching can be automated and different call reception modes can be activated on the telephone system at different times for each day. |

Nearly all telephone systems enable call diversion to be activated. In this way, an employee can, for example, divert their telephone to their mobile if he or she is working out of the office on the road. However, in most cases such diversion can only be activated from the telephone itself. It is therefore a problem if you have forgotten to put the phone on divert and you are already out and about. With a musiphone® NEXT LEVEL, however, you can activate call diversion and other features - by calling in from outside. This is particularly useful for small businesses where staff often spend a lot of time at customers premises and only come back to the office late in the day. Simply call in from your mobile, enter the code, and the musiphone® activates the requested feature on the telephone system. |

Its not only call reception modes and call diversion that the musiphone® can control. The musiphone® can also control the opening of doors, which until now could only be done from internal telephones. With a NEXT LEVEL unit this is now also possible via a code-protected call from outside, which can also be optionally limited to certain time periods. |

Combining separate interface connections with the musiphone®s time control feature makes other interesting applications possible, such as time-controlled activation of a central bell connected to the telephone system for use as a signal of the time. |
