Alternatively, NEXT LEVEL musiphone® appliances can also be connected to PBXs and deployed as high-quality voice storage capacity in many building management and intercom systems.
The use of the start-stop control function for each port (enabled using E&M interface software, delivered as standard with NEXT LEVEL ADVANCED devices) permits simple playback of all stored messages.
The start contact parameters for triggering messages can be custom set: voltage pulse (6 to 60 volts) or floating contact, minimum contact time, pulsed or maintained contact, NO or NC contact. The NEXT LEVEL system also sends a floating acknowledge contact back to the connected system. Again, parameters such as pulsed or maintained contact, NO or NC contact, pulse duration, offset for audio signal reproduction are user-selectable.
A custom message can be played back via each port on the musiphone® (as many as 16 on NEXT LEVEL ADVANCED devices) on contact request. Up to 32 different messages can be stored in the device. Messages can be assigned to ports in advance in four different operating modes, which can be selected at any time either at the push of a button or by remote telephone dial-in.
The use of an SMC card can extend the storage capacity of the NEXT LEVEL
system to four hours and more.
